Abstract

Objectives The purpose of this study is to analyze the pattern of scores and runs by continent by collecting field scores and penalty corner scores among international competition match data. Methods In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 140 games held in four international competitions held from 2017 to 2022 were targeted. For the collection of data, official data provided by the International Summer Federation were used, and eight variables were used. The collected data were organized through MS Excel, and SPSS 25.0 was used for statistical analysis. Among the nonparametric statistical verification methods, the Kruskal-Wallis H test was used for data processing. Results According to the results of the study, there were factors that differed in Asia, Europe, Oceania, North America, and South America, but there were no factors that differed in African countries. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that it will be used as basic data for establishing response strategies for major women's hockey competitors.
