Abstract

Currently, significant political and socio-economic transformations taking place in society require changes in all spheres of life. The leaders assume the opportunity to carry out qualitative transformations in the country, to manage the process of innovation. An important aspect of the strategy in the field of youth policy is the training of leaders of a new formation, who are characterized by: enterprise, communication skills, mobility, the ability to work in a team, capable of cooperation. Leaders who can make decisions independently and predict the possible consequences of decisions made. The subject of the study is the factors and ways of forming a person's personality, as a leader in individual and collective activities. All theories about leadership focus on personality traits and situational processes in which they manifest themselves. Leadership qualities allow a person to set new tasks for himself, form the ability to flexibly and promptly respond to changing demands of society, as well as to global modern trends. The authors of the article believe that the process of personality formation is based on purposeful, consistent activities that contribute to the development of professional, cultural value orientations, in accordance with social, gender attitudes, which in turn lead to continuous self-education and self-development.
