Abstract
The aim of the paper is exploring the content and causes of the transformation of the sonnet genre on the material of poetic texts of Kazakh Russian-speaking authors of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.Results. The texts of modern sonnets, representing the transformations of canonical accotsative, subjective, spatio-temporal relations and cotectonic cliques describing the general direction of the development of Russian-language poetry of Kazakhstan are considered.Conclusions. The transformable genre of the sonnet preserves the core of the genre and changes its genre components simultaneously. The nature of the preservation / dismantling of the space-time level informs about the high degree of demand for the genre of the sonnet.Â
