Abstract

The paper presents calculations of static characteristics of a selection of breeding material by the mass fraction of protein, fat, starch in barley grain. The mathematical processing of the data was carried out for the most part with high accuracy, therefore, it is possible to monitor the entire assembly. The maximum protein content of grain (14.1-14.8 %) was noted in only 2 % of varieties, starchiness (60.7-62.8 %) in 10 %, oil content (1.8-2.2 %) in 22 % of varieties of the control nursery - which are recommended for further research. According to the obtained data of the correlation analysis, the relationship between the content of protein and starch in the grain is the average inverse ( r = -0.40), and between the content of starch and crude fat - a weak direct ( r = 0.26).
