Abstract

This study sought to investigate the structural relationship between the selection attributes, emotional reactions, and behavioral intentions of a series of experiential local festivals as social distancing was completely lifted in April this year after the spread of COVID-19. To this end, a survey was conducted on 350 participants and visitors who participated in the marathon festival held in Jeju City in June to obtain the following results. First, it was found that the selection attribute of experiential local festivals had a positive effect on emotional response. Second, it was found that the selection attribute of experiential local festivals had a positive effect on behavioral intention. Third, it was found that the emotional response of local festival participants had a positive effect on behavioral intention.
