Abstract

Hangeul spelling is an ideal rule harmoniously reflecting the principles of sound and the spelling. Improving the practicality of Hangeul spelling is only possible on the basis of grammar education. Most of difficult spelling can be understood as grammatical knowledge and principle, which can be accomplished through the character recognition of reading, and can be solved by the power of grammar education. In the spacing, compound words and bound nouns should be allowed to splicing, as it is inconvenient for excessive spacing and allows no-spacing of bound verbs. There are three types of terminology spacing. It is confusing because of difficulties in distinguishing compound words from phrasal compound words. The terminology should be splicing in principle, and practically terminology should allow for spacing. Since the spacing rules flow into analytic approach and give various regulations and exceptions, they should be developed to allow a lot of splicing for convenient spacing as much as possible.
