Abstract

The issue of personal self-attitude has been relevant for a long time in various fields of science and practice. The development of self-attitude becomes especially important during the student period, when young people face the choice of a professional path. This age stage gives young people the opportunity to express themselves in adulthood, to fully realize their previously accumulated personal potential. The research purpose is to identify the psychological characteristics of the self-attitude of future educational psychologists. To achieve this goal, we carry out the analysis of scientific publications on the specifics of self-attitude during the student period, systematization and generalization of scientific research. We analyze the theoretical views of scientists on the specifics of personal self-attitude, present interpretations of the studied concept. The subject of analysis of empirical studies is the self-attitude of the individual during the period of professional training. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, the features of the self-attitude of future educational psychologists are following: the formation of self-attitude is inextricably linked with the passage of all stages and crises of professional development; professional self-awareness of future educational psychologists determines the specifics of self-attitude; the success of mastering the profession of a educational psychologists is associated with the formation of a positive self-attitude among students. The conclusion is made about the need to introduce psychological and pedagogical support to students in the educational process of the university to form a positive self-attitude among them.
