Abstract

An analysis of the theoretical principles of implementing electronic document management systems was carried out. Electronic document management means the creation of an infrastructure foundation, which is an integral part of any organization. The authors insist that this process represents not only an innovative approach, but also a radical management innovation that has no precedent in the classical management of information flows within enterprises. The implementation of such a system greatly simplifies the work of the team. The electronic document management system, being a key element of automation, undoubtedly helps to speed up the process of completing tasks and improve the company’s competitive position. An effectively organized electronic document management system guarantees the continuity of business processes and saves time, freeing it up for priority tasks.
