Abstract
This study investigated the effect of social support on job stress and burnout for the elderly dance sports leaders. A survey was conducted on 188 dance sports leaders. For data processing, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and path analysis were performed using the spss 21.0 program and the AMOS 21.0 program. The results of this study are follows. 1) Family support perceived by dance sports leaders for the elderly had a negative effect on job characteristics stress, human relations stress, and job environment stress. Other support were found to have a negative effect on job characteristics stress. 2) It was found that other support perceived by dance sports leaders for the elderly had a negative effect on emotional exhaustion, decreased sense of achievement, and depersonalization. 3) It was found that the stress of job characteristics of dance sports leaders for the elderly had a positive effect on the decrease in achievement and depersonalization, and the stress in human relations had a positive effect on emotional exhaustion. In order to alleviate the job stress and reduce burnout of dance sports leaders targeting the elderly, careful attention and consideration will be required so that they can actually feel social support from their family and surroundings.
