Abstract

The social environment, including changes in the digital environment, is accompanied by a change in new consumption trends that requires products that meet the needs of consumers with high levels of demand and needs. This will enable companies to enhance their competitiveness through various forms of collaboration and make it a marketing tool to secure new consumers. Therefore, in this research, we analyzed the design characteristics of products in line with new consumption trends. Designed artistically for home appliances with a cold image of the tip through art collaboration. The food company also performs various collaborations for seeing and enjoying psychological satisfaction. Characteristic of the collaboration with the character industry, such as super heroes, mobile games, emoticons, etc. familiar to us, give familiar images to commodities and capture new consumer layers. Collaboration between brands and brands of this type of industry or similar industries is used in designing to enhance consumption purchasing power by adding the value of each company's image and products. Collaborative products accompanying the development of digital technology show the characteristics of product design that can respond to new consumption trend while pursuing more sensitive aesthetic value. Therefore, in this research, we expect to actively utilize in the future design development of product design through collaboration.
