Abstract

Rapidly developing processes around the world require prompt response to them in order to avoid the negative consequences of these events. This becomes especially relevant for such states like Georgia, due to some factors. First of all, it is much easier for little countries in terms of territory and population to respond to new challenges. Secondly, not long ago, the economic structure of Georgia has changed. Since the education quality is generally recognized as one of the factors influencing country’s progress, it is necessary to make fundamental corrections in the field of education in the first place. According to the opinions expressed in the article, innovations should be based on trans-, multi-, interdisciplinary approaches and on the use of modern computer technologies.
