Abstract

In the FSBI RosNIISK "Rossorgo" research is being conducted on the procurement of canned feed. In 2022, silage from non-traditional fodder crops was laid in laboratory conditions, by self-preservation, without the use of preservatives. We used cereal grasses such as – paiza, chumiza, sorghum-sudank hybrid and legume culture – Lathyrus sativus L. For silage, the plants were cut into a vase of the beginning of the wax ripeness of the grain. Studies have shown that the process of lactic acid fermentation in the silage mass develops with unequal intensity and depends on the botanical composition. When determining the quality of the finished feed, the optimal combination of feed crops for laying silage without the use of preservatives was revealed. Keywords: FEED PRODUCTION, SILAGE, CHUMIZ, PAYZA, LATHYRUS SATIVUS L.
