Abstract

Environmental responsibility of business is becoming an increasingly important aspect in modern society, where awareness of environmental problems is growing. The article examines the evolution of the perception of environmental responsibility as not only a duty, but also a source of potential benefits for enterprises.
 The author explores the transformation of approaches to sustainable business, demonstrating that eco-initiatives can not only reduce the negative impact of companies on the environment, but also provide them with new opportunities for innovation, growth and strengthening their positions in the market. Practical examples of successful implementation of environmentally responsible business strategies are analyzed, emphasizing positive results for companies, their reputation and consumer relations.
 The role of government regulations, standards and social pressure in shaping ethical and environmentally sustainable behavior of enterprises is also discussed. The article calls on the business community to actively participate in solving environmental problems, highlighting the development prospects that open up to companies that take a responsible approach to their activities.
