Abstract
Aim. To determine the effectiveness of minimally invasive personalized surgical treatment of submacular hemorrhages (SMH) against the background of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nАMD). Methods. The data of 77 people (77 eyes) were processed in the study. Of these, 36 eyes had a small hemorrhage size, 22 had an average size, massive size was seen in 19 patients. Results. A minimally invasive personalized approach to the treatment of subfoveal hemorrhages of various sizes has been proposed and applied. Conclusion. Improvement of vision with an appropriate treatment strategy is regardless of the size of the SMH. After performing vitreoretinal intervention, subsequent therapy with angiogenesis inhibitors is required, in accordance with the etiological factor.
