Abstract
The Purpose of this study is to explore the foreign professors' perceptions toward their lived experiences at a university in Korea. The data for this study were collected through qualitative research with three foreign professors who have been teaching in Korea for 3-5 years. For a better understanding of the research participants' perceptions, narrative inquiry was conducted for a period of four months. And to grasp the meaning of their experience in the broad context, the semi-structured interviews and a focus group interview were conducted not only on these foreign professors' experience at their university but also on their family life and life outside university. The author of this study believe that this kind of descriptive analysis of foreign professors' perceptions of their experience can provide important clues for the development of better higher education system over time.
