Abstract
The purpose of the research is to study and analyze newspaper texts on the problem under study; identification of the main points of the ecological crisis and its impact on many aspects of human life. This study is a survey of publicistic articles on economic topics to identify the current economic situation in Europe. At present, the problem of the economic crisis occupies a dominant role all over the world, since this is the time for the formation of new models of the economy in conditions of environmental, pandemic, and, consequently, economic crises. Analysis and review of media materials and materials of scientific and practical conferences and symposia dedicated to sustainable development in the context of ensuring the economic and environmental security of territories, as well as the projected developments of state authorities and authorities on this topic and an assessment of the economic consequences that European countries are experiencing due to environmental disasters in the proposed article made it possible to identify the scale of damage to the world economy. As a result, the most informative parameters were obtained, showing the current state of the economic crisis in Europe.
