Abstract

The article is devoted to the professional orientation of teaching mathematics in higher education. The issues of the professionally applied orientation of this course, the importance of mathematics in the preparation of students of chemical specialties have always been relevant. Research into the problem of a professional orientation was carried out in three aspects: content, methodological, psychological. Paying special attention to the methodological aspect, we consider the professional orientation of training as a basic requirement, as a leading principle of training. Based on the analysis Based on the analysis, we divided the tasks of the mathematics course into four groups: 1) mathematical problems; 2) mathematical problems with chemical content; 3) educational and applied tasks; 4) professionally applied tasks. The meaning of each type of problem is revealed, the stages of their solution are shown. As an example, the introduction of one of the fundamental concepts of mathematics - "derivative" is considered.
