Abstract
The article examines the role of trade unions as one of the most important institutions of civil society, the focus of which is the humanization of labor in Russia, including the protection of the rights and interests of workers, improving the quality of their socio-economic situation; creating working conditions that satisfy their needs and interests; maintaining the social stability of society.
