Abstract

The article presents a strategy for overcoming intergenerational gaps in modern Russia. The strategy is aimed at reducing the value gap of the three age groups, congruent redistribution of resources between the older, middle and younger generations, minimizing the threat of age discrimination (ageism). The strategy of the state is analyzed through the model of the five forces of competition by M. Porter. Specific projects for the development of intergenerational dialogue in the economic, political, social and cultural spheres of society are proposed. The author concludes that in the conditions of digitalization and globalization, youth policy should be adapted to new challenges.
