Abstract

The article is devoted to research and analysis of the peculiarities of interrogation tactics, highlighting the main specific features and actual problems that arise before and during the conduct of such an investigative/search action. Emphasis is placed on the role of the investigator, since it depends on him how the interrogation will take place, the situation during its conduct, the tactical techniques and combinations used by him, as well as whether the investigator will use special knowledge to establish psychological contact. Attention is paid to the preparatory stage, at which the investigator needs to establish socio-psychological characteristics, tendencies, peculiarities of the personality of the interrogated person. An analysis of the main errors that occur during the investigation was carried out and possible tactical risks during the interrogation were highlighted. The issue of building a psychological contact with the interrogated person as one of the main tactical techniques, which is constantly used in investigative practice, is studied. The system of combinations and methods selected by investigators depending on the existing non-conflict or conflict situation is considered. It was emphasized that ways to overcome the existing situation will be determined from the moment the interrogation begins. A number of circumstances have been identified that can both help the investigation in the investigation of the materials of the criminal proceedings and hinder it in an objective and impartial review. Circumstances that lead to the improvement of techniques and methods of investigative/search action are considered. Techniques and methods of interrogation tactics are indicated and the most optimal of them, and those most often used by investigators, are determined. The tactics of the investigator’s actions during the interrogation procedure were analyzed and it was established that the algorithm of the investigator’s actions depend on the behavior of the person being interrogated. In connection with the growth of professionalism and awareness of criminals, a conclusion was made regarding the need for further scientific investigations of the specified topic.
