Abstract

Objectives The purpose of this study is to develop career subjects and test their effectiveness for career development of college students.
 Methods The subjects of the study were conducted in 13 weeks of 60 minutes per session from September to December 2022 for second graders at S University in Seoul. The career adaptation after the program pre-school career adaptation. For the study analysis, an independent sample t-test and a corresponding sample t-test were performed using the SPSS 23.0 program.
 Results As a result of this study, the experimental group's responsibility (t=-5.135, p<0.001), goal consciousness (t=-7.225, p<0.001), creativity (t=-6.735, p<0.001), openness (t=-11.146, p<0.001), initiative (t=-5.16, p<0.251, p<0.001) were statistically increased. In the case of the control group, it was found that there was no significant change.
 Conclusions The experimental group of career subjects was verified to be effective in increasing the sub-factors of career adaptation compared to the control group. This study is meaningful in that it provided what are the main factors of career design by verifying the effectiveness of career subjects in designing careers by college students themselves.
