Abstract

The article examines the approaches of national governments to the legal regulation of cryptocurrency circulationf in the post-pandemic period. It is shown that at present the positions of the authorities are diametrically different – from prohibition or significant restriction to the development of a special crypto-regulation. The conclusion is substantiated that in order to minimize the risks from the introduction of cryptocurrencies into the financial sector, it is necessary to develop crypto-legislation in the near future and it is advisable to start with the creation of regional regulatory mechanisms and an effective supranational regulatory structure.
