Abstract
The article examines the importance of applying international audit standards are investigated, approaches to the implementation of international audit standards are classified. Сonclusions about the practice and current state of implementation of international audit standards in foreign countries, measures are being developed to introduce and the application of international audit standards in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the documents included in it, recommendations on follow-up comprehensive actions for the recognition of international audit standards and proposals for their improvement.
