Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the experiences of involved in the Pilates Instructors Training Course through narrative methods. Data collection methods were conducted through observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis process cross - analyzed the narrative text with a number of seminars with fellow researchers and tried to increase the validity and credibility of the expert. The results of the study showed that the curriculum of the instructor was divided into introductory, adaptive, and intensive courses according to the flow of time. The introductory curriculum for the Instructors appeared to be ‘the beginning of Pilates’ and ‘the charm of Pilates’. The adaptation of the curriculum for the Instructors showed difficulty, overcoming, and interaction. Deepening appeared as ‘becoming a professional Instructors’ and ‘becoming a comfortable Instructors through communication with members’.
