Abstract

The article examines the local speech content, explicating the idea of a country club as a center of organized leisure in a northern village. The author points to the significance of the club influence on the way of thinking, spiritual formation and development of rural residents. Moreover, the work emphasizes the optional nature of such leisure activities due to various natural and social factors. The author concludes that the village club has become an integral part of the everyday culture in the northern village, a local world picture of villagers.
