Abstract

Health Cooperatives are one of the Social Economy (SE) organizations that carry out various health care and educational activities for the realization of community medical welfare. As a Learning Management Apparatus (LMA), which is a network of verbal and non-verbal elements that intervene in human learning activities, Health Cooperatives produce the subject (‘activist members’) through the management of their members' learning activities. This paper aims to capture the dispositif that manages learning activities at the group level and to specify the concept of LMA. For this purpose, this study selected a Health Cooperative as a case study and inductively derived the elements of a LMA. The results of this study are as follows: the elements that make up the LMA are divided into spatial, content, practical and discursive elements. Also the two essential attributes of the dispositif are the process of subjectification and the emergence of new subjectivity. In addition, the LMA functions as a space that resonated through competition between the two essential attributes and various elements of the dispositif. Finally, this study suggested various empirical follow-up case studies to refine the concept of the LMA
