Abstract

The article considers the problem of the impact of the creative industry on the formation of professional com-munities. The purpose of this study is to identify the necessary support and develop recommendations for rep-resentatives of the creative industries in creating professional communities and influencing them. Diverse defi-nitions of the term “creative industry”, as utilized in various global contexts such as Japan, Great Britain, etc., are expounded upon. The increasing role of professional communities in the development of creative industries in Russia is highlighted. The analysis ascertains the profound positive ramifications of creative industries on the evolution of professional communities, reciprocally, the constructive influence professional communities wield on creative sectors is elucidated. Furthermore, the author posits that creative industries not only furnish individ-uals with new cultural experiences but also serve as a conduit for acquiring information and express their indi-viduality. The author's stance concerning distinguishing cultural and creative industries, delineating prevailing challenges, and subsequently formulating recommendations for engaging with professional communities with the potential for their integration into the developmental roadmap of creative industries is substantiated.
