Abstract
In modern economic (market) conditions, the factor of ensuring high competitiveness of teachers, as one of the most popular professions in society, is of particular importance. This explains the relevance of the study. However, scientific publications do not pay enough attention to the development of methods for assessing the level of competitiveness of teachers, and the available publications are usually descriptive. In the paper, the authors propose a methodology for assessing the level of competitiveness of teachers, based on a number of mathematical methods. The developed methodology can be used for quantitative assessment and self-assessment of teachers, as well as in the course of work of commissions for the certification of teachers in higher education system. It seems that the material will be useful for both beginners and experienced teachers, as well as all those who are connected with the issues of modern pedagogical science and practice.
