Abstract

The article deals with priorities of level language learning at non-linguistic institutions of higher professional education in Russia and contains recommendations for level learning. Attention is paid to delineate the most urgent problems that require further development. A level approach to foreign language teaching is considered as both a practical strategy in organizing foreign language teaching at the university and a factor that contributes to the development of educational system.

Introduction

Abstract: the article deals with priorities of level language learning at non-linguistic institutions of higher professional education in Russia and contains recommendations for level learning. Одной из основных сложностей обучения иностранному языку можно считать разнородный состав студенческих групп по уровню начальной языковой подготовки, интересам и потребностям, что значительно осложняет учебный процесс. Как было сказано выше, уровень языковой компетенции первокурсников оказывается ниже уровня Intermediate и даже – Pre-Intermediate.
