Abstract

Emphasizing the existence of an effective public expenditure management system and the need to reduce corruption risks in the budget process, in parallel with certain reforms carried out in the field of public finance, since 2000 the authorities of the Republic of Armenia have initiated the introduction of a unified public sector procurement system that meets international standards. For a more purposeful implementation of the public procurement process in the RA, in accordance with the RA Law “On Procurement”, special procurement procedures have been established for the purchase of various types of goods, works and services.
