Abstract
The article describes the organization and practical training of future teachers at the Lutsk Pedagogical School. In the process of the retrospective analysis of documentary sources (archive materials), the peculiarities of practical training of students in the Lutsk Pedagogical School since the period of post-war reconstruction have been analyzed. The role of pedagogical practice in the educational process was analysed, its organizational principles, content and forms were defined. It was found that despite the unsatisfactory material and living conditions and the acute shortage of teaching staff in the post-war years, practical training was implemented in the pedagogical school as an integral part of the educational process. It was proved that pedagogical practice was the important means of forming the professional qualities for future teacher, approving the role of a teacher. In the process of research, it was determined that the urgent task of reforming Ukrainian education was the constant improvement of practical training of future specialists for the quality training of a modern competitive teacher.
