Abstract

This study explores the history of migration and the peculiarities of preserving the traditional culture of Estonians in the forest-steppe zone of the Omsk Priirtyshye, drawing from both archival and field materials. Field ethnographic data were collected in 2023 in the village of Zolotaya Niva in the Okoneshnikovo District of the Omsk Region. Informants identify the celebration of Ivan Kupala Day, traditional cuisine, ornamental patterns on knitted mittens, and the spatial organization of cemeteries as ethnically marked elements of their culture.
