Abstract
Taking into account the increase in the incidence of combined infectious diseases (HIV / tuberculosis) in our country, it becomes relevant not only to drug treatment of diseases, but also to maintain the normal quality of life of this category of patients, given the high percentage of chronization, disability and mortality from each disease individually and from their totality. The study of the quality of life of patients with various diseases was conducted both abroad and in our country. They also concerned tuberculosis patients and people with HIV infection. However, the quality of life of patients with HIV-tuberculosis combination has not been sufficiently studied in our country recently. The aim of the study was to compare the overall quality of life in patients with associated HIV / tuberculosis infection and healthy respondents. The diagnosis was carried out using the “Quality of Life Questionnaire (WHO version)”, 62 patients with associated HIV / tuberculosis infection and 69 healthy people took part in it. As a result, it was found that for respondents with associated HIV / tuberculosis infection, the overall quality of life and health status is estimated as average, which is lower than the indicators of healthy people. This parameter is less significant for patients, and to a lesser extent satisfies them. At the same time, they are less satisfied with both their lives and their health. Patients with multiple pathologies, especially severe associated infectious diseases, need not only to improve their health, but also to solve life problems, for which it is important to build comprehensive care for both doctors and psychologists.
