Abstract

The idea of the research stemmed from the importance of the construction industries, which are part of the manufacturing industries, as the most important activities on which the national economy depends, due to their close connection to the process of economic development. Therefore, it is necessary to research this completion in order to develop this industry. Therefore, the importance of research lies through presentation. Detailed study of the construction industry in Wasit Governorate and an analysis of its reality. The problem of the research is that the construction industries in Wasit Governorate still suffer from many problems and obstacles that impede the growth of that industry. The research aimed to analyze and study the reality and indicators of the economic performance of the construction industries in Wasit Governorate. The research reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are; As the construction industries in Wasit governorate suffer from many obstacles, especially at the level of infrastructure, taxes, the policy of economic exposure, and administrative and financial corruption, which together constituted an obstacle to the progress of the construction industries in the governorate. Therefore, the research recommends the necessity of paying attention to the process of evaluating the efficiency of the economic performance of small construction industries periodically and continuously. To ensure the implementation of the set strategic objectives, to detect deviations in a timely manner, to identify their causes and to address them to ensure that they do not accumulate.
