Abstract

The future implementation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine the compulsory external knowledge of mathematics for all graduates of secondary schools raises a number of issues in the pedagogical community and the parents of students: school mathematics overloads the schoolchildren with unclaimed knowledge for many future professionals, does not take into account their personal inclination and abilities, multilevel mathematics programs in turn, cause problems in conducting the external testing and comparing the external testing scores with different programs. The authors of the article tested the graduates of the bachelor’s degree to find out the level of unclaimed knowledge of school mathematics and the possibilities of restoring the forgotten mathematical assertions.The math’s programs at the elementary school should be better differentiated according to the needs of future graduates, to enable able students to work on individual programs and schedules of control measures. In order to avoid unclaimed knowledge of school mathematics and preserving the students’ health, it is advisable to investigate the following with regard to the possibilities of information technology: “What kind of mathematics is needed for modern schoolchildren – the future specialists of different profiles?”
