Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the emotional labor on job burnout and turnover intention for women caddies. A total of 182 questionnaires were distributed to women caddies. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, mutiple regression analysis using SPSS 18.0. The following conclusions were drawn: First, there were corelation among emotional labor, job burnout and turnover intention in women caddies. Second, emotional labor of women caddies had an effect on job burnout. Third, job burnout of women caddies had an effect on turnover intention. Fourth, The emotional labor of golf caddies had an effect on turnover intention. In conclusion, as the result of this study, it is expected that the elimination of turnover factor resulted from the emotional labor of caddies not getting over the difference of the internal, external emotion actually and keeping job efficiently. And this study is a result of great significance in investigating the relationship between job burnout caused by the emotional labor of caddies and turnover intention.
