The entry of an aging society and the increase in the elderly population are increasing the elderly's sense of social disconnection and their need for help in daily life. In order to solve these problems, this study focuses on the design development of a popular digital companion to support the daily lives of the elderly and improve social interaction, and aims to develop a design of a popular digital companion aimed at improving the quality of life of the elderly. Do this. In addition, we developed an interface and functions that facilitate interaction with the elderly by applying a user-centered design that takes into account the usability and accessibility of the elderly. The design process was conducted by analyzing the needs and preferences of seniors, establishing an initial design concept, and making iterative improvements through prototyping and user testing. The digital companion developed as a result of this study aims to be integrated into the daily lives of the elderly and improve the quality of life of users through various functions such as health monitoring, schedule management, and communication promotion. Additionally, the usability evaluation results prove the effectiveness of the design, which provides important guidelines for the development of future digital products for the elderly. Therefore, the design development of a digital companion for the elderly emphasizes the positive impact it has on improving the quality of life of the elderly, and is expected to contribute to related research and product development in the future.
