Abstract
The article presents the results of changes in the productivity of sows of Large White breed and Precocious Meat SM-1 during purebred breeding and mating with boars of other breeds. It has been established that the higher the genetic potential of the parent pairs of pigs, the higher the fertility and large-fruited offspring obtained from them, since the kinetic parameters of metabolic processes and manifestations of diverse physiological functions are higher.
