Abstract

It is argued that the key problem of modern epistemology and philosophy of science is the problem of analyzing empirical material for which there is a lack of tools. It is shown that the theory of social relay races by M. Rozov (TSR) focuses on this and offers an original ontological model of the structure of knowledge. Only a theoretically built ontological model of cognition allows for a systematic collection of empirical knowledge, which is richly represented both in the history of science and in the real scientific practice of an actively working scientist.
