Abstract

This paper examines the information and psychological warfare (IPW) waged by the collective West against Russia as a modern manifestation of the concept of permanent, civilizational confrontation between Western and Russian civilization. Using declassified documents and published studies on the subject, the author analyzes the development of IPW starting from World War II and up to the present time. The author then concludes that the use of IPW illustrates the West’s continuing and intensifying efforts to destroy the Russian civilization.
