Abstract
This study compared and analyzed the reality and problems of the rapid change in technology cliché amid the rapid change in the security environment and the 4th industrial revolution, resulting in the extreme aging of rotary wing aircraft operated by our military and discontinuation of repairs. To this end, we will examine the future battlefield environment and aviation operation based on the characteristics of the aviation industry, and suggest ways to develop rotorcraft in preparation for the future battlefield environment through overseas technology development and aviation industry growth. In addition, it can be considered reasonable to promote overseas introduction in case of urgency, such as domestic production and introduction based on the domestic development and production process, in the long term, and concerns over a power vacuum in the short term.
