Abstract
In this study, a PHB nanofiber mat with various concentrations of PHH was successfully prepared by the electrospinning method. The morphology of the PHB nanofibers was observed by the microscope. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to evaluate the characteristic groups for the PHB sample with various concentrations of PHH in pellet and nanofibers mat form. DSC analysis was used to investigate the change in melting point and the crystallization temperature of PHB with various concentrations of PHH. TG and DTG were used to test the decomposition temperature as well as the mass loss of PHB pellet and PHB nanofiber mat with various concentrations of PHH. The DSC, DTA, and TGA thermal analysis results showed that the melting, glass transition, decomposition initiation, and decomposition termination temperatures decreased with increasing PHH concentrations
