Abstract

The article summarizes the concept of sustainable development of society, defined its essence and briefly describes its origin. The role of readiness of future rescuers for self-preservation in realization of model of sustainable development is substantiated. Psychological, managerial, moral aspects of self-preservation of future rescuers in extreme conditions of professional activity, its connection with the corresponding behavior are considered. The importance of self-preservation in the context of the rescuer's performance of his professional duties is proved. Emphasis is placed on the specifics of the attitude of society to the preservation of life and health of rescuers, reveals the corresponding ethical contradiction. The naturalness of the rescuer's self-preserving behavior is substantiated, both from the biological and psychological point of view. Some normative documents of the past and the present are analyzed, on the basis of which the transformation of the official position of the state concerning the necessity of preservation of life and health of rescuers is described and substantiated. Summed up the need for the formation of self-preserving behavior of future rescuers in the context of the development of the idea of sustainable development of society.
