Abstract

The article presents the importance and main characteristics of effective communications in the hospitality industry. The role and prospects for the development of the industry are shown, which makes it attractive for analysis. In addition, the study allows us to conclude that internal communication in the hospitality industry is important as the main component of the personnel management system. The set goal of clarifying and highlighting the problems of communication processes in the hospitality industry personnel management system by studying the contribution to human resource management, communication theory and internal marketing through the systematization of theoretical and empirical knowledge about the role of communication in hospitality enterprises has been achieved. In addition, possible directions for further research are presented, which include the need to develop questions about the impact of information and communication technologies on communication with both management and colleagues, as well as the variables that moderate the relationship between communication and satisfaction. The understanding of the relationship between internal communication with management and colleagues and employee satisfaction is substantiated. It has been found that higher employee satisfaction with communication contributes to a stronger emotional connection with the organization, which leads to a decrease in employee absenteeism. It is shown that both types of communication (communication with management and colleagues) have a positive impact on job satisfaction, with communication with management having a more significant impact, explaining the largest amount of variance. It is shown that internal communication is important for maintaining the right relationship between employees and the organization. The data presented allow us to conclude that the study shows the importance of communication for achieving employee job satisfaction. The results also confirm the findings of previous studies that have found a link between interpersonal communication and job satisfaction.
