Abstract

Mohammed Rashid Ridha (1865-1935) is one of the most prominent pioneers of the reform movement in the Islamic world in the modern age. He tried to reform of the Ummah Affairs In order to standoff of the West challenges. Rashid Ridha lived in a difficult period of Islamic History, the last of the Othman Empire. This period of time was marked by many transitions in the history of the Ottoman Empire, and contributed to the shaping of its features and the determination of its political, cultural and geographical directions. All these factors led to the dissolution of the unity of the Muslims and the disruption of their geography, which was unified. This is the atmosphere in which Rashid Ridha respired an atmosphere that enabled him to realize his position as a reformer, making him feel as a human being found in this crisis.
