Abstract
The peculiarities of the formation of medieval Turkic states are of particular interest dueto the political conditionality of the issue for the region. The revision of national histories gives rise to a lot of distortions, inaccuracies and manipulations both among professional historians and specialists in other fields. A constructivist approach in exploring and determining the main features of the formation of nomadic states in Central Asia is a prerequisite for further effective research of the idea of the Turkic Renaissance. The article attempts to constructivist understanding of the formation of the State of nomadic Uzbeks on the territory of modern Kazakhstan.
