Abstract

The widespread introduction of digital technologies brings to the fore the problem of the level of training of relevant personnel. The qualifications of graduates require constant improvement. The use of probability distributions in applied research is expanding. Directions and goals may be different, but the basis is the mathematical properties of distributions. Therefore, a very urgent task is to formulate a holistic study of these properties in probability theory and mathematical statistics. In this study, using specific examples, we demonstrate an alternative methodological approach to obtaining maximum likelihood estimates, optimal estimates, as well as their properties for exponential type distribution laws.
