Abstract

Forming an optimal assortment is one of the most effective methods of increasing the efficiency of a trade organization. However, in the context of modernization of the trade sector, under the influence of the emergence of innovative technologies, traditional methods of forming an assortment can no longer provide trade organizations with the required level of competitiveness. In this regard, the issue of creating innovative approaches to assortment formation becomes relevant. This article examines current trends in the field of assortment formation, and also explores possible approaches to the use of digital technologies for these purposes.
