Abstract

Problems associated with the civilization development of the modern society
 are considered. The author emphasizes economic issues, examines how
 economic processes affect differentiation of countries by level of access to
 benefits of civilization and by human-caused impact on environment. The
 motives of entrepreneurial activity are viewed through the prism of conflict
 between interests of an individual and society implying that the state is in
 charge of preventing such conflicts.
