Abstract
The paper considers the possibility of using GAZELLE cars with an automated spark engine power system producing generator gas obtained by gasification of pellet fuel made from pine wood waste and polyethylene. An automatic power supply system for a gas generator car with an extended base GAZ-33104 «Valdai» with a power plant UMZ-4216 Euro-4 has been developed, which allows to use a fuel mixture consisting of 70% generator gas and 30% gasoline to prevent spark engine failures.
